The new curator at OI Stifel Fine Art Center, Michael McKowen, is giving us all “in the valley” a change of pace, while maintaining the traditions of excellence that we have always received from the oldest Arts Organization in the nation. Michael brings to the exhibition space a respect and an honor of responsibility.
He offers us a bold excitement, a challenge, a new variety and an urban contemporary flair in his curatorial program. He asks of the artist, the sponsor, the juror, the visitor and the art collector to participate and experience the theme and direction of the exhibition as complete as one wants to involve their senses to all of the elements that make a Fantastic Exhibition!
He has succeeded again with Visions & Shadows now be offered through November 4th with Symphony Concert and a Masquerade Ball.
What Not To Love. John Williams music as a theme, puppetry as a theme, artist exploration of the unknown as a theme, dreamlike narrative theme, dark and light as a theme. Well, so if you have to See to Believe then by all means don’t miss this opportunity!
Make a note to Go to Art Receptions, gallery walks, visit virtual sites, web sites for news and return to a child’s delight of memory of first crayons and the trait of vividness!!!
